UConn R & D initiates new business start-ups based on innovative technologies developed by the faculty and staff. Faculty inventors may use this site to learn more about the technology development process, including the criteria for review and selection of potential technologies.

Faculty inventors interested in commercial opportunities based on their research and/or inventions should complete and submit the Business Opportunity Assessment Form. We will contact you after receiving the form. UConn R & D encourages faculty interest and participation at all stages in the technology development process.
